Oh, and I seen that the Nets could do a sign and trade as well and include Favors as a part of the package.

If the Nets could get Bosh in a s/t, then oh my things will get interesting.

 

Lopez is very underrated as a Center, teaming him with Bosh would more than likely be the best one-two combo down low in the East, and maybe even the West as well surpassing Gasol and Bynum. Harris is a point guard who can shoot it from outside, and one that would compliment James almost perfectly, add that to some of the youngsters they have such as T Will then you may have a worst to first type team. They will be moving to Brooklyn in a couple of years, and we already know what the owners plans are. That's not even mentioning how Jay-Z would factor in, he and Lebron have worked numerous partnership ideas.

I'm the one of the biggest LBJ fan in the world, but why does he have to leave? An easier path to the Championship so the haters can say he had to have tons of help? Who says that he has to win 4 or 5 championships to be happy? Wouldn't one or two in Cleveland be more special?

 

Say LBJ gets to 3 in Cleveland I think it gets interesting legacy-wise. Russell had Cousy, then Havlicek along with countless other HOF'ers. Magic had Kareem, Bird had McHale and Parish, Jordan had Pippen, Kobe had Shaq and then Gasol. LeBron will have had Mo Williams.

I agree. There are already so many Lebron haters right now as it is and they are just looking for him to fail. If he never wins a championship he will be the most unfairly criticized player in the history of the league. I'm not sold that he can even win one in Cleveland. With much thought into it, seems as if his best chances to do so in Cleveland have came and went. It is evident once the Playoffs start that as a team the Cavaliers are not on the same level as a couple of the other teams right now. Cleveland does play great team basketball, and Lebron does so much for them its not even funny, but they give their all during the entire season. Other teams do what they have to do and then turn it on during the post season when it matters. I am starting to realize that because Cleveland has had back to back season titles doesn't mean they have been the best team then something happen. Instead, they are the only team who really goes out and gives 110% for 82 games, then some. Once the post season starts and every one else kicks it into high gear it is a different story, and Lebron cannot win with what he has around him right now. If he does, then he would have to have one of the greatest playoff runs (number wise) of any player in history. He would basically have to average a tripple double or close to it. This of course given the lineup stays similar to how it has stayed. I don't look for him to ever get that solid, first class wingman in Cleveland though, and without anything close to it, I don't see him winning a title without one. There is a reason all of those guys CATS mentioned had multiple rings, and thats because they did have somebody else. He named some of the greatest of all time, and none have done it by themselves. When the playoffs are on the line and it gets deep, say conference finals and finals, without that help Lebron will never taste one in Cleveland even though I would give anything to see it. Just being real. Never said I was a Cavaliers fan, just said I was a Lebron fan. If they can somehow hook the Bosh deal and send out Mo Williams, Bron, Jamison, and Bosh, and whoever else as a starting five then they may have a decent shot. But until he gets a big time wing man to go with him in Cleveland they will continue to fall short to teams that are solid 1-5 and with guys coming off the bench. It's hard to win a 7 game series with one main player. As Thibodeaux did against the Cavaliers this season with Boston, he tailor made the defensive strategy to stop Lebron, and caused his worst playoff performance to date. Without quality help this will continue to happen.

If I'm the Cavs I'd do everything in my power to keep Hickson if they trade for Bosh. How can the Cavs win if Mo Williams or Hickson are involved in the trade? The only way I could see the Cavs winning the title next year is if Jamison is in the sign and trade and Toronto won't want him. LBJ's best chance to win a title is w/ Bosh in NJ or Chicago. Or w/ the big three all in Miami. Lets say Bosh and Wade commit first to Miami. How Does LBJ win an Eastern conference where his team is the 4th best team? If Boozer goes to Chicago and they get a knock down shooter Cleveland is probably 5th best. If you're a true LBJ fan you want him to win 2 of the next 3 titles minimum. He can't do that in Cleveland. He negotiated his contract so he has the option to go where he can win right now. How could anyone fault him for that? He also might want to start winning titles before Durant and their very nice and very young roster figures out how to win in the playoffs.

Cavs are really in a no win situation. They can't sign Lebron unless they sign another big name and they can't really add another big name they he wants unless they move players but the players they'd have to move are the players that are built for the future of the Cavs. Bad situation and tough to be a Cavs fan right now.
