Trinity 2010

As far as QB it won't be Noe he has moved to WR.The Rocks will be good but short at experience.St.X has a big edge in senior talent and a ton at skill positions we will have to see but I like the Tigers to repeat.

Agree with this assessment, especially concerning the comparison of the senior classes. The biggest question marks for the Tigers will be the O line play and depth they can get from the juniors at various backup spots. I believe the entire O line and many of the #2's graduated. If X gets handled up front and is forced to throw on third down they could struggle offesnsively against one team on their schedule--Trinity. Tiger defense should be stellar.

As I understand it many positions may be "up for grabs." That is the way it should be. REbuild - Reload. I know with our HC and the rest of the Staff -- we could not be in any better hands. WE very much need to improve on last year....in terms of picking up "one more W." Good luck rocks and let's get it going.

Bob Beatty will have the Rocks back in State Championship form again this year could be 20. The Rocks have been really solid the last two years in Fresh- and JV ball so back to the top is the goal. Who is the new defensive coordinator does anyone know?

From what I understand they will be starting a Soph at qb.

Will they contend for a state title this year, with a Soph at the helm?

I think it's safe to say that Trinity will, at the very least, be "contending" for a state title this year! When is the last time they didn't "contend"... perhaps 2000?

2004. We were in the title game in 2000.

QB will not be a weak spot for the Rocks, whichever sophmore wins the job.

Does Frederick not play qb anymore?

Frederick does play QB as of now.

He is a Sr. correct ? How does he stack up against the newer talent ??

Heard the other day he might be the starter - is that misinformation??

Frederick is a senior. I've only seen maybe two 7/7 practices, but it appears the younger guys are more talented. Misinformation? Maybe so. I would say it's less likely he isn't the starter than is. It's only June 29 and and they haven't even put on the pads, so a lot can happen.

Thanks for the info and heads up. GO ROCKS :thumb:

One of the 2 sophs will be the QB for T thats the latest.

I hope to see a tougher, more committed and prideful team this year. I think that will happen.

Amen Brother. We need to ramp it up and learn from last year. Truly feel that other local teams will be much improved this year [i.e. Ballard, Eastern, etc] and the X-men sound 'scary strong" again.

Stayed tuned, folks! I think it's going to be one wild ride!:taz:
