Calipari: Kentucky May Add Another Player for 2010

Featured Replies

Do you think Coach Cal would really limit himself for next years class? Even if he does sign one more guy, I am sure he will find away to get all the guys he still would want for next year, so I wouldn't really worry about it. Our only worry should be about if he leaves or not.

I don't know, but I don't think it could be good to bank on players leaving early. What if Knight doesn't play well and wants to stay? What if Jones starts off slow and can't leave? I just don't know why you waste a scholarship on a player that has to sit out next season, when you could get another top of the line for 2011 instead. Makes no sense to me.

If Coach Cal wants another one then we need another one. He seems to have this recruiting thing figured out. I am enjoying the results so much I don't feel the need to even question what we need.

I guess that's fair enough.

He sure did along with giving recaps of Jones/Vargas' game... Cal has many cards up his sleeves.

Grab Moultrie and call this one a wrap. For those of you doubting what Moultrie brings, don't. He is a projected NBA prospect and anytime you can get a guy with pro potential you have to take him, especially one with size. Sure, you could use his spot for someone in 2011, but Moultrie will have experience and a year in Cal's system when he finally gets on the court. He's not going to have to go through all of the growing pains a true frosh would. Outside of O'Bryant, I'm not sure there is another big on UK's radar they would be better off with in the 2011 class.

Anthony Davis...

Yeah it seems like Moultrie makes sense assuming Kanter is 1 and done and Harrelson will be leaving and then who knows if Jones will play more than 1 year.

I'm still not sure Jones will play at UK this year ...

Don't rule out Royce White...

I'd have mixed feeling on him but I wouldn't complain if he came only because I know he's talented.

I still say there's at least a 50/50 chance of a player leaving UK. This week's news probably increased the chances.

Dodson?

Dodson?

All I know about Dodson is he can flat out shoot the ball when he is in rhythym. The young man can make 50 in a row from three in shooting drills. I've heard of Billy D making 25 consecutive before leaving practice but 50? Outstanding. There must be a major issue(s) with this young man for his name to come up as a "problem child" as much as it does.

It would be nice if Dodson would make a couple baskets during a game.
