May 17, 201016 yr St. Louis Cardnials outfielder Colby Rasmus described Bronson Arroyo's pitching as "Doo-Doo" and "a bunch of slop." Is this sour grapes by Rasmus, or is Arroyo doing it with smoke and mirrors?

May 17, 201016 yr ^ I agree about the Cards whining. From the manager to the radio broadcast to the players. People say the same thing abot Jamie Moyer but he has been slinging slop longer than most lunch ladies.
May 17, 201016 yr Say what you want to say about Arroyo but fact is he's a very solid pitcher. I think everyone knows he's not going to overpower anyone but he's good for 200 IP and that's important for a staff. Plus, he leads the league in crotch adjustments.
May 17, 201016 yr Dumb move by Rasmus. Cardinals are probably more arrogant than that Yankees. When things are going their way then they are fine and everything but once things start going downhill that's when they start calling out everyone else besides themselves.

May 17, 201016 yr Many hurlers have had very successful careers dealing slop. I bet about everyone on here can name at least a dozen. There's also been many hopefuls that could throw 95-98 mph but couldn't get big-league batters out. Arroyo is an innings-eating machine and has had a nice career tossing those frisbees. He knows what he's doing out on that bump.
