Anyone know why tomorrows game isn't on T.V.?

Fox moved their national game to prime time, so all night games that aren't the Fox game are off the table for local broadcast....

Nice win for the Redlegs. Anyone know why tomorrows game isn't on T.V.?

I just looked a their broadcast schedule and there are only two evening games not being televised, both are Saturday night games, both are vs Cleveland.

Surely you're intelligent enough to realize the Braves are average at best this season...

I am and you are and most on here are.

Oh, I agree. I'm not saying he doesn't make some mind-boggling moves, but to pin every loss, especially yesterday's, on him is crazy.

My only rational line of thinking about leaving Lincoln in is that he pitched pretty well his 1st two innings, and he thought with a 6 run lead, ride the hot arm, and get the game over with quick. I most certainly wouldn't have left him in after the 1st couple hits though. :idunno:

Dusty was quoted as saying that he was 1. trying to get Lincoln the save; and 2. trying to save his bullpen for the next 13 consecutive games.

I don't think anyone can dispute that #1 is NOT a valid reason, especially when you're throwing a guy out there who hasn't pitched more than 2 innings all year. #2 is reasonable, but the bullpen is already well rested. You don't have to put Masset, Rhodes or Cordero in there. Fisher or Herrerra (likely) could have done the job just fine, although the little guy already failed once in a similar situation.

Does anybody else sense that Brandon Phillips does not like the 2 hole? Personally I love the new batting order but Brandon doesn't seem to enjoy trying to move runners.

There's no doubt that BP thinks of himself as a run producer, but he's been hitting great in the 2-hole.

Batting 2nd (21 games): Phillips is hitting .293 with a .370 OBP%, 2 HR, 2 RBI, 9 BB, 10 K, 2 SB, 2 caught stealing.

Bating 3rd (1 game): 1/4, .250 Average, .400 OBP%, 1 BB, 1 K

Batting 4th (20 games): .231 average, .294 OBP^, 3 HR, 10 RBI, 7 BB, 13K, 1 SB, 3 caught stealing.

Big win against a struggling Indians team. Hopefully we can pull another out tonight or tomorrow and continue to win series...

The Reds lead the Majors with a .304 batting average with runners in scoring position & 2 outs...

This is hard to believe when they have left a ton of runners on third with less than one out over the last week or so.

I have said it before and I will say it again. C'mon Reds, lets sign Jonny Gomes to a multi year contract before he deceides to go somewhere else for big money. (Jorge Cantu) Gomes deserves better than to leave him hanging after ever season. He is the heart and soul of the Reds.
