Saturday is Joey Votto figurine night giveaway to the first 20,000 and Sunday Red's skateboard deck giveaway to the first 10,000 kids. This is a week to open up a lead over St Louis with 4 at home versus Pittsburgh and then 3 with the Astros before they head to St Louis for 3. Meanwhile St Louis goes to San Diego for 3 and then Chicago for 3. It also looks like the Reds will miss Carpenter again as he's slated to face the Cubs next Saturday.

May 23, 201016 yr It will be hard to keep contending if we can't get Cordero straightened out. It looks like the starting pitching is going to be turning over alot of games to Massett and Cordero and they have to get the job done for the Reds to win the Division. Relivers must throw strikes and not 3-2 counts on every hitter.
May 23, 201016 yr I don't know what Coco's deal has been this season, but we need him to fix whatever it is fast. He was so good last year, and it's not like he is that old either. I really hope he's just in a funk and will be able to work his way out of it eventually. You shouldn't have to hold your breath everytime you closer enters a game.
