Welcome to BGP, Capernicus.

Is it safe to assume that you have already purchased your tickets to this weekend's series?

Thank you. I have tickets to Friday and Sunday. Civil Rights game I would assume sells out regardless, but this should just add to it.

Your probably right, but why not? Huge series, weekend series, and if the rain holds off it should be perfect weather.

I agree will be a great weekend for it but 10 years+ of losing seasons and the price of tickets for a family have been keeping a lot of people away and probably will until they make a deep run into the season at the playoffs.

Don't worry about not being able to get a ticket if you want to go!

I'll be making my first trip of the year on Saturday.

Heard an interesting thing on Lance's show on the way home.

The St. Louis sports reporters agreed that the Cincinnati Reds are the team behind the Cardinals in the Central that they have the most concern about.

If you're watching, you saw what happened just a moment ago when Ludwick's bat broke, resulting in the broken shard end of the bat head stabbing into the ground. How long will it be before one of those bats impales a pitcher or another player, or even worse, a fan?

MLB is making a dangerous gamble by allowing these maple bats.

So everyone quit watching? Or did my post raise such a stinkbomb that no one ones to talk about Stubbs cutting into the lead?

I don't think that bat shattered or splintered to bad. That bat seem two be mostly in two pieces. Is there a difference?
