If I ran a company and an interviewer asked a perspective candidate this question, he/she would probably be fired immediately. Ireland should be disciplined by the team or league for these actions. We hear and see how the NFL is cracking down on the personal behaviors of the players and their reflection on the league, ... this should be no different IMHO.

There is a little more latitude given to these guys when you are about to throw multiple millions of dollars at a guy which has proved absolutely nothing. From afar, it seems as if this question crossed the line. Although I do have a hard time believing this question just came out of the blue and not prompted by preceding questions. On Mike and Mike, they were going thru some of the questions and it seems that quite often, the interviewers push the line of what is a legit question. Toby Gearhart stated that he was asked by an NFL exec if being a white RB made him think he was entitled. I don't see how that is a relevant question IMHO. This question asked of Bryant was over the line in almost any context. I can't think of a legit reason to ask this question.

Dictator Goodell needs to fine him IMO. That is the kind of question you do not ask anyone. What would it have changed if he had said she was a prostitute? The NFL thinks they can treat players how ever they want, what about common courtesy? Anyone is going to take offense to that.
