Leake with an impressive outing so far. Over 100 pitches in the 7th, should be getting yanked soon.

Good guys make it 3 in a row...

Dusty showing tonight why he has no business being a manager. He has no idea how to use his bullpen. Name me another manager that would use his two best set up men in the 8th and 9th inning with a 6-1 lead, and then goes to his closer with one out in the 9th. I'm sure Cordero was really mentally prepared to come into the game at that time. Where was Mike Lincoln or Carlos Fisher for the 8th and 9th.

Mike Leake seems kinda quiet and shy... all business kinda guy.

When Virginia made it to the CWS last year, I was reading up on all the teams and heard nothing but great things about him. Because Strasburg was getting all the attention, Mike was kinda forgotten about.

While both could still have great careers, it's great to see him step up and pitch so well the first month of the season.

Aroldis Chapman went six innings for Triple-A Lousville. He allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits. He walked two and struck out four. He threw 99 pitches.

Oswalt has dominated the Reds throughout his career, going 23-1 with a 2.58 ERA in 32 games, including 12-0 with a 2.26 ERA in 16 meetings in Houston.

He won eight consecutive starts with a 2.39 ERA against the Reds from August 2006 to September 2008, but had no record with a 3.38 ERA in four starts versus them last year.

Facing the last-place Astros (8-12) may present Arroyo with the ideal chance to begin turning around his sluggish stretch. He’s won four consecutive starts against them with two complete games and a 1.69 ERA.

Sounds like his control was better even if he got hit a little bit. That will be key if he is going to be a factor in the majors this year.

Another Reds game, another awful Nick Masset outing....This is becoming a recurring theme for this year's club....:D

I don't understand Dusty pulling Masset after a strikeout. If you are going to pull him, why not after the HR. Dusty makes no sence most of the times. I wonder what he said to Masset when he took him out. Masset just shook his head.

Maybe CoCo wasn't ready, I am pretty sure he didn't think he was going to pitch going into the late innings.

Funny you didn't say anything about his 1,2,3 inning the night before.

I agree with you HT and I'm guilty of overlooking something positive and focusing on the negative. Judging by his last 10 outings, he has only two "clean" appearances, meaning no walks, hits, etc.

Not sure what is wrong with him...

Didn't watch the game Tuesday night. I tend not to comment on games if I didn't watch.
