April 13, 201016 yr Man they have been fun to watch so far this year. I think there is something to be said with a young group that is pulling off wins that late in the game. It's good for character building. I thought Votto got killed but did the right thing. They missed that the pitcher wasn't looking. If he throws it and the ball bounces off then it's game over. Nice small ball at the end. Phillips came up big.
April 13, 201016 yr Tens upon tens of people leaving the ballpark upset... So sad that you're not joking about the tens of people. Games must be very fun down there, front row seats whenever you want.
April 13, 201016 yr So how about that terrible bullpen? All it took was getting the Cardinals out of town
April 13, 201016 yr You throw the ball to the base...he should have thrown the ball. If Masset doesn't catch it, it's on him. It's the first baseman's fault for not even throwing it... You gotta throw it either way. No his fault if the pitcher isn't looking. How would Votto see that anyway he should have been looking at the base. Votta made the right play. In that situation, you do NOT toss the ball and allow the winning run to score. You HAVE to make eye contact with the pitcher on that play, you do not just simply throw it to the base expecting the pitcher to be there. Votto recognized that Masset was not looking at him. Masset was looking for the throw from the shortstop.
April 13, 201016 yr Good win tonight. Cueto had a rough time, Bruce finally shows life and Rolen had a huge night with the bat.
April 13, 201016 yr Is it just me or has the strike zone been wildly inconsistent on both sides tonight??? No, it's not just you. CVB is consistently inconsistent. I can't stand when that man is behind the dish.
April 13, 201016 yr No, it's not just you. CVB is consistently inconsistent. I can't stand when that man is behind the dish. He is by far the worst umpire in the majors.
April 13, 201016 yr He is by far the worst umpire in the majors. Not if you ask him. He is terrible all the time.:thumb:
