Not if you ask him. He is terrible all the time.:thumb:

I've asked Charlie Reliford and Greg Gibson, and they both just smiled and said " I know as long as he has a job as an umpire that my job is safe."

Greg Gibson was across the diamond from him at 3rd base during the AL Divisonal playoffs when Buckner blew the two calls at 1st. I asked him about it this winter, and he stated that it come him (Gibson) a shot at the World Series.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Cuban left-handed pitcher Aroldis Chapman is scheduled to make his debut at Louisville Slugger Field on Friday, April 16 when the Bats take on the Columbus Clippers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. Gates will open at 6:00 and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05.

Drew Stubbs cf

Orlando Cabrera ss

Joey Votto 1b

Brandon Phillips 2b

Scott Rolen 3b

Jonny Gomes lf

Jay Bruce rf

Ryan Hanigan c

Bronson Arroyo p

vs. LHP Nate Robinson

Arroyo is 0-2 with a 3.75 ERA against Florida in eight games and five starts.

If I was filling out the line up card it would be like this.

1. Stubbs CF

2. Phillips 2B

3. Votto 1b

4. Rolen 3B

5. Bruce RF

6. Gomes LF

7. Cabrera SS

8. Hanigan C

9. Arroyo P

What do you think?

^ At some point he is going to have to move BP out of the cleanup spot. It's really not that hard. Rolen would be a much better option at the 4.

Apparently, a lot of folks from the Cincy and Dayton area will be coming down to watch him, as tickets have been going fast and may already be sold out for Friday. I'll be there, because I'm interested to see (and hear) a 100 mph pitch from up close.

I wish I was down that why but I will just wait till he is up with the big guys. Let us know how it goes. :thumb:

Will do. Hope he gets more than 85 pitches and 4.2 innings this time around.

Gomes with a 3 run bomb and Bruce follows with a solo shot. 4-0 Reds...

Gomes couldn't have hit that harder.

How can you miss that call? Might as well just scrap instant replay. Absolutely PATHETIC!!!
