I agree with u looked like he got tackled pretty easy and for having 4.5 speed it looked like somone was there to tackle him every play.

 

Not a breakaway threat, not overpowering, and was tackled pretty easy..huh. Nice job giving some local talent credit for his abilities. The footage looks pretty decent to me and apparently is good enough to get him some looks from big schools. I hope the teams don't take your assessment into consideration when they prepare for Boone because they will be in for a surprise.

Remember, the Video was from his junior year. I would think Oppenheimer, being a year older and probably been training, I would think he has improved his speed. Getting timed at UK pretty much confirms that. May be one of the two running backs in NKY this year.

just looked at last years stats and Oppenheimer averaged 6.01 yds with 106 attempts and total yards of 638. Elliot averaged 6.79 yds with 238 attempts and total yards of 1617. If Oppenheimer is to be the main rb this year and he gets the load of the carries, he could be just as productive as Elliot. Oppenheimer, Bradley and Elliot all have the ability to produce some BIG numbers in the upcoming season in this district.

He looks alot bigger than 165 lbs and taller. He has to be atleast 180 lbs now.

He looks about 165-170 pounds and no where near as ripped as Simpson or Elliot. This from a track meet on Saturday. He looked a little on the skinny side to me.

I was a quite a few track meets this year, stood right next to him, and I would be surprised if he weighed any more than 165-170, it doesn't look like he has been in the weight room all year. I also saw him standing right next to Simpson, he is built nothing like him. He is extremely fast and wouldn't be surprised to see him receive more college track offers than football. He will definitely have to live by out running people outside because he definitely doesn't look like he has the build to take a pounding up the middle for an entire season.

For what fullback? No chance Elliot can play tailback in the SEC.. His hips are way to stiff and he isn't fast enough. I do think he could possibly play fullback though..

Looks to me like Boone should have run him more last year. The Rebels sure weren't tossing the ball all over the yard.

His grandpa doesn't know anything about his recruiting but I sure do!

Univ.Cincinnati (RB), N.C.State (RB & LB), Univ of Kentucky (RB), Univ of Virginia (LB), Ohio Univ (RB), Western KY (RB), Murray State (RB) and EKU (RB)

Also saw Patrick Towels at UC and the kid is a great QB! His dad is a very nice man and I wish him and Patrick all the best!

By the way coach Jones is a super guy and also coach Archer at NC State!
