Just catching up on some threads,she is surely not being dismissed because of coaching ability. Must be something else,she was a terrific player and is one of the top couple coaches in the area. She makes adjustments during game easily as well as any coach in the ninth. GOOD LUCK!!!

Michelle Cottrell (sp?) is only one of the best players to come out of the Boone Co. girls basketball program and then #1 player in the history of NKU womens basketball and led the NKU womens team to a National Title. If I'm not incorrect, I believe she got Division II National Player of the Year when she was a senior at NKU. Who wouldn't want Cottrell as their head coach? But I have no idea if she is interested.

 

What coaching experience does she have?

Any updates on this position? Will the program suffer if they don't hire someone soon? Who carries out the open gyms, camp plans, coach responsibilities until the vacancy is filled? Has anyone heard if there are candidates or at least a hiring committee in the works?

I still say Stamm should be given serious consideration. Basketball junkie and gym rat who will get the most out of his team. He is more than ready for an opportunity to jump to a bigger school.

I am not sure he would go. He loves Ludlow and competing in the 34th is much easier than the 33rd.

Any word here? It seems to be dragging on forever. If anyone wonders why Boone County and Ryle has a stronger program, they can look right here. Both of those schools would have had this settled by now.

If you don't know what's going on, how can you say Boone and Ryle wouldn't have similar issues... There could be an appeal process that has to run its course. I expect something will be announced pretty soon.

Nice cheap shot at Conner. Not sure what you are basing your comment on, but sounds to me like a flip comment with no factual evidence to back up your comment. What are the parameters of a "stronger" program? Please define.
