February 23, 201016 yr Saw this earlier, and got a good laugh. Three things stand out for me... 1. TK is the last person that should be making fun of how people look. 2. If this (critique) is done by a woman, it's no news. Why is it okay to be critical if you're the same sex? 3. One of the posters on the MSN page had it right...if HS's clothes really were this ugly...she needs to get help with her wardrobe!
February 23, 201016 yr That is what Tony K does even at his own expense. ESPN created this guy and now they suspend him? :idunno: Little hypocritical if you ask me.
February 23, 201016 yr Not a huge TK fan, but like stated above, they created his mantra and now ESPN wants to can him for spewing about their own. Once again, ESPN shows why so many can't stand them.
February 23, 201016 yr Suspended for making fun of how she was dressed? What a cushy, wimpy world we live in anymore.
February 23, 201016 yr Suspended for making fun of how she was dressed? What a cushy, wimpy world we live in anymore. Could not agree more.
February 23, 201016 yr Suspended for making fun of how she was dressed? What a cushy, wimpy world we live in anymore. I would have probably been fired.
February 23, 201016 yr I would have probably been fired. That's more proof of how ridiculously oversensitive we've become.
February 24, 201016 yr Listen to him every day via podcast. He's said much worse about many other folks (in particular, Hoda Kotb & Kathie Lee on the 4th hour of the Today Show. Only difference here is the criticism, while completely accurate, was of someone else on ESPN and they don't allow that. He was "on vacation" (suspended) a few times when on ESPN Radio for similar comments.
February 24, 201016 yr That is what Tony K does even at his own expense. ESPN created this guy and now they suspend him? :idunno: Little hypocritical if you ask me. I don't know if you could possibly be more off-base with this comment. Kornheiser has been one of the most respected and well-read sports columnists in the biz for a very, very long time, and a good two decades before ESPN "created" him.
February 24, 201016 yr Much ado about nothing. Heck, if you want to hear TK at his best you should listen to old broadcasts of his DC radio show when they used to leave the mic on during commercials for those listening online.
February 24, 201016 yr From the looks of it she earned the criticism. She's definitely no Michelle Beadle. :taz:
