February 17, 201016 yr Guess I will have to post real slow for some to understand, was responding to the other poster when said do you want you point to have more to's than assists per game because that is what Wall has in most of his games this season. Understand? The post you quoted didn't say anything about having more TO's than assists, and either way, Wall has more assists than turnovers anyways, so the point is moot.
February 17, 201016 yr Wall averages 6.5 assist a game, and 4 turnovers a game. Calipari has said many times that he would like Wall to average about 4 turnovers a game or he isn't being aggressive enough.

Understand? Wall has more turnovers than assists in 6 out of 25 games he's played. So no, we don't understand :thumb:
February 17, 201016 yr The past few games you can tell Wall is being a lot more patient and not pushing the ball ahead in to traffic on the break. He went through a little bit of a lull, but hopefully he is making a turn for the better down the stretch.
February 17, 201016 yr You want your point guard to have as many if not more to's than assists per game. Just because you handle the ball and dribble drive don't make you a true point. He IS a point guard, never said he wasn't, just leans to a 2 in most games, which is what Bayless says. This thread is awesome.

February 17, 201016 yr Wall is also second in the NATION at 6.5 assists per game behind some guy for Siena.
February 17, 201016 yr I just don't agree at all with Skip Bayless' assesment of Wall. You can say maybe he is not as dominating as his hype, I would buy that. But to say he is not a Point Guard is absurd.
February 17, 201016 yr Take a look at the list of NBA players who lead the league in turnovers. These are the one who average at least 3 per game: Kobe Bryant Carmelo Anthony Chris Kaman Stephen Jackson Russell Westbrook Dwayne Wade Deron Williams Dwight Howard Lebron James Gilbert Arenas Kevin Durant Steve Nash and the league leader...Monta Ellis Who cares that these guys turn it over? They are still the top playes in the game. They have the ball in their hands so much they will make turnovers. I don't think these guys are bad to have on your team. The turnover argument is a weak one. Yes, he needs to cut down on his TO's but it's not a big deal to be near or at the top of the league in turnovers unless it is a category in your fantasy league, lol. February 17, 201016 yr I just don't agree at all with Skip Bayless' assesment of Wall. You can say maybe he is not as dominating as his hype, I would buy that. But to say he is not a Point Guard is absurd. Last comment. Nobody, not even me or Bayless said he is not a point guard. Just said he looks like a 2 more than he should in games just like a 2 looks like the point at times. His turnovers have been substantially higher than his assists in 6 games(according to one poster), but his assists to turnover ratio is 6-5 or 6-4. Doesn't Jon Scheyer of Duke average close to as many points and assists to Wall per game but just 1 turnover per game? Would you consider him a point guard that plays more like a 2 in games or a true point guard? Somebody that has time to fact check this, please do.
February 17, 201016 yr With this comment, Skip Bayless just showed that he has not watched UK at all this season. He also proved that he is a moronic idiot. How he stays on ESPN is beyond me.
February 17, 201016 yr Ask that NBA team that drafts him and pays him millions of dollars, what they are gonna pay him to do. I would think they are qualified to make that assessment.
February 17, 201016 yr Anybody who agrees with Skip more than 30% of the time is way off. Skip has lost all touch with reality, not just with this comment but with almost everything he says.
February 17, 201016 yr Wow that's crazy. Wall woudn't be a top pick if he were a 2 guard IMO. He has some rough edges but he's about as good of a PG prospect as there has been in the last few years IMO.
