I don't know how GT feels, but my argument in this thread are not out of a personal vendetta against him, I actually love arguing with him because he will keep it going forever just like I do. I agree and I don't even get the bickering or comment by Joker. There are probably 1-2 kids in Cincy annually who would make a splash in the SEC.

 

Off the top of my head I can only think of DeShawn Wynn that did make a splash in the SEC-and you really can't say he made much of a splash :ohbrother:.

That's what im trying to figure out what he's going to own. This was a good year for Cincy. Hicks could play in the SEC and James/Norwell could have on the line. Brown could have made the roster in the SEC but most years its 1-2 kids at best.

Which is another reason why I don't see why it was such a big deal and so funny. Who cares? Recruiting Cincinnati will not make or break any major program, nor will it make or break UK. It's not the south, and like I've stated before it's no where close. Shoot I can think of a few high schools in the south (Miami NW and STA being the first two that come to mind) that have more high major talent than the entire Cincinnati area.

Neither of which had OSU offers but that can be taken for what its worth. Granted they don't value the TE, so it may not be fair to Smith. I just think there are much bigger fish to fry. If he wants try to battle OSU/ND/UC for the annual one or two big prospects more power to him. But he is also trying to dominate an area that has had little success against the SEC.

I like the kid a lot, I just don't see him being the type of player that fits at OT in the spread. I have also said I think he could be a force at OG, and have never done anything other than give an honest evaluation of what I have seen in person from his style of play. I think he will likely have a long and productive career starting at ND on the line, I just think it will be on the inside...

Really? We've could've made a living of it for most of the last decade.
