Very true. Funny how those who really dislike UK will find anything to poke fun at or ridicule regarding the Cats. Oh well. I like the attitude as well.

Where did I say that they did? GT said that UC would have competed for the NC which is false. They may have got into the game but they got humiliated by a team that got humiliated by the National Champion. Bama would have absolutely destroyed UC just as UF did.

 

By the way, it's not like UT has had a whole lot of luck against Urban Meyer either considering you guys are a whole 0-5 against them.

I do find it funny for a UT fan to tell UK to beat Urban Meyer's Gators. Neither have had much success of late. UT's was, however, able to beat UF under Zook.....huge, huge accomplishment.:lol:

I think Joker raises a very good point. For too long Kentucky has overlooked the talent in its own backyard. Granted, that backyard is shared with the rest of the neighborhood (Ohio State, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Louisville, etc.). The fact remains that Kentucky would benefit from inserting their name in the mix and seeing what it has to offer. Georgia, South Carolina & Florida will continue to be the primary focus on the recruiting trail, but showing a little interest in a city with some of the best high school football in the country, which is 70 miles from campus, can't hurt.

UT's 4-13 in that big rivalry the last 17 years. Wouldn't exactly call that competing. They won a couple of games which is more than UK but a lot of the folks around Tenn actually think they are around the same level as Fla. 4-13 sure doesn't back that up.
