The point is that you said UT was "competing" with Florida. Has nothing to do with whether UK is or not. 4-13 is pretty embarrassing for a "football" school eh?

I can care less about Joker. The streak should have ended this year when they had the ball around the 10 yard line with about a minute to go. If he does this as an OC what do you think he will do as a Head Coach? Actually I take that back the streak should have ended the last time they were in Lexington when the game went into the game went into 3OT. When Aige threw the INT it should have been over but you guys knows what happened with the blocked kick. I use my real name because I don't care what anyone says or thinks of what I say. You either like it or not I don't care :laugh: I have had a few Beechwood football parents over the years say stuff to me because of what I said about the team. I think that is pretty funny. But your right it is all in fun no matter who doesn't agree with what I have to say. :laugh:

Back to the Joker's comment. I know he wants to own Cincinnati but that isn't going to happen. Sec and Big Ten schools love to recruit here. Look at how many players from this area have gone to other Sec schools besides UK. The Vols have taken a few over the last 3 or so years. Ben Martain from Lasalle was the last one. Fla came up and got Desawn Wynn. Even LSU got the Spencer Ware kid. Look at how many times the Big Ten has came calling. Brian Kelly will recruit well here as well. He took how many players from this area in his first three months I think 4 or so players? I know that Joker wants to recruit heavy here but that isn't going to happen.

No man, there's no way you could have. Me and GT were arguing about Joker saying this. GT said it was impossible, and I said that didn't matter. It's a goal for UK that they probably can't reach, but there is no harm in trying. Then I said that if there was harm in Joker saying he wanted to try to own Cincy, that it was just as stupid for UC athletics to say they were going to try to win MNC's in football because both are just as unlikely.

 

Then he stated that they were 1 play away from competing for the MNC last year. While technically that is correct, IMO and judgin from the UF game they would have got killed by Bama, which is hardly competing.

I would bet that it is close to the same. One advantage UT has over UGA is that UT gets the Gators at home every other year.

Dooley isn't like the Lane Kifffin guy I took up for. He will run a clean program unlike Lane did. He is a blessing in disguise!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again. It doesn't matter who coache's the Vols they will beat UK. I will say it again my 6 month old great niece could coach against UK and beat them. Joker is a JOKE! I'm not worried about the Vols at at. Dooley will run a clean program. He has one of the best young DC's in college football.
