Word on the street is the major snow storm will push back interviews until June and they will interview all 40 applicants. Just what I heard.

40 applicants does not mean there is much to choose from. Anyone who can type can apply.

It doesn't mean there's any QUALITY to choose from - but they DO have a lot to choose from.

I've heard they may not even hire a coach, but rather are going to pass out a survey to a select few parents and use a rotation of parents as coaches on Friday nights. This way they can't hang a coach! I say this in jest of course, but it sure would be fun to watch!

The starting lineup would change each week depending on who parents were running the show. Just joking of course, just like the Leach comment.

This rotation would also help test scores rise giving some kids a week off from time to time to study of course.

That's better. All in good fun. :thumb:

Overheard at an upcoming SOHS game...

"Alright parents, it's 2nd & 10. Using your phone, text

1 for a draw play

2 for a sprint-out pass

3 for a dropback pass

4 for a toss sweep

Just a reminder..normal texting charges do apply."

Any news on this opening? I think it has been posted for over 30 days now.

Has any heard when South Oldham is interviewing?

Sounds like it might be a while, since nobody has heard anything.

Looks like no spring practice in South Oldham.

Parents voted, spring ball is not important, so that will be fine!

So says the survey, so say the parents.
