Best round of golf

Featured Replies

27 at Erlanger Putt-Putt as a teenager. I'm pretty sure I won a free game and a 2 liter on 18.

I have choked on at least 3 putts inside of 6 feet for a 79... :irked:

I feel ya. For 4yrs my goal was to break 80. 2 summers ago at Boone Links it finally happened. Shot a 76. Lights out with a chip in on #8 Brookview par 3. Haven't sniffed a 80 or lower since that day.

Best round I've ever played was a 78 on the course we live on, but it's an extremely short course. But I can cart it for 5 bucks a round since we live on the course. On any average length course I usually shoot in the 90's.

The best round of golf that I ever played was at the Meadow Course at the Greenbrier. I had a 78 which was right after I had taken the Golf Academy. On average I usually shoot high 80's low 90's.

Best round was an 80 at Waldon Ponds in Cincinnati, missed a 5 footer on 18 for a 79. Best score was a 76 at Reeves GC in Cincinnati.

Wow, that is impressive.

Besides my 48 I once shot on Tiger Woods 2005, I cannot recall my best round. I am thinking somewhere in the high 80s out at our local country club. I stink at golf. Used to be solid when I was young and on the golf team. I then had a bad round when I was about 12-13 and took off from playing again until I was 21 or so. Not that impressive of a game any longer.

Speaking of which, I have lost my golf clubs! How in the world does someone do that?

Thanks. That was back when I could play a little bit and didn't have the extra mouth to feed. :D

Actually made it to the Sectional Qualifying of the Open that year. AWESOME experience!

Shot 74 at Avon field in Cincy but its a short easy course and only par 66. I shot a 82 at Devou this past summer.

I shot 2 under par at The Bull in Madison County about 3 years ago. That was from the 6200 tees, not the tips. When one is talking about scores it does make a difference which set of tees you usually play. jahearme plays from the 7000 yard range, totally out of this ol' man's league, LOL.

79 twice at Longview is my lowest, but several 80s at much better courses. Breaking 80 is a curse for me. If I shoot a 37 on the front, I am guaranteed to shoot a 43 or higher on the back. I once started 14 over after 5 holes and about broke every club in my bag only to shot 1 over for the last 13 holes. I am such a mental midget when it comes to scoring in golf.

73 at Dix River in Stanford KY.

77 at Charlie Vettiner and 78 at Griffen Gate

Lowest score I've shot is 62 at Cynthiana CC.

Best round I've ever had was 71 at Old Silo in a US Open Local Qualifier.

Nice round. That's where I play all the time, what was that about 3 years ago that qualifier.
