As a fan of the OVC, I am interested to see what Governors look like. They have been solid out of the gate. An interesting note is that head coach Dave Loos became the all time leader in wins as an OVC coach passing Cal Luther last week.

Big Blue UK Fan must not have much faith in the Cats. I think Kentucky comes out and plays nice and relaxed after finishing a week of finals. Now they can spend their time practicing and getting better.

 

I can't wait to see how much better this team gets from now until the 2nd semester starts back. The NCAA 20 hour limit on practice ends and the team will likely go to 2-3 practices a day during the break, should be some big strides forward for such a young team.

I kind of expect this to be an ugly game for the Cats. The Cats are coming off 3 big wins, the rest of the student body is home for Christmas break, and the players are probably looking forward to Christmas as well.

Saw where Lunardi had the Governors in the big dance as OVC champs in his first version of Bracketology. I think UK starts this game going up hill and gets things rolling in the second half, and win going away by 23. UK 89, AP 66.

Think Cats will win by 25 plus. Kentucky will probably not be as ready to play as they were in the 3 big games last week. Peay is usually a pretty solid team but UK just with too much talent.

The Cats win, but it won't be pretty.
