As said before, it is not a KY vs TN allstar game. It is E. KY vs E TN. players. Where was this played and how many people attended?

Last year my son participated in this game for the Ky team and we paid $250 They recieved plenty of items my only problem was that it seem to me that Coach K catered to the Highland players more than other local players my son was in on three plays caught three passes and sat the the rest of the game which I felt was very humiliating to him considering he was in the top 5 in the state. I personally could careless about the perks he wanted the exposure more than anything and was not given the oppurtunity like some so I lost alot of respect for Coach K last year.

 

Paul Rains was the coach last year. Bruce Kozerski(sp) coached the O-line. You are blaming the line coach because your son didn't catch more passes?

I'm somewhat confused. If I understand your post correctly, you seem to be saying that your son's playing time suffered because K was catering to the Highlands kids. Weren't the Highlands kids Guidugli, Head and Dempsey? If so, neither of those three are receivers. Dempsey is a lineman; I assume Head played defense which leaves Guidugli at qb. How did those kids affect your son's playing time? Did Guidugli run the ball all the time out of the qb spot? Not being a smart butt; just trying to tie your comments together.

Isn't Boyle County and Anderson County West of I-75? And technically so is Bryan Station.

 

Also Conner. I think if it's along the I-75 corridor it qualifies. Of course, defining the corridor might be dicey.

You were very much misinformed. Coach K made the substitutions on the offensive line and no where else. The Highlands kids had no players at wideout and the three recievers that really stood out in that game were Hicks from Franklin County, Adams from Middlesboro and Saifullah from Bryan Station. It is very unfair to say Coach K made substitution calls when he did no such thing. He was with the O-Line 100% of the time. Good luck this year Coach Kozerski.

Looks very good. Lots of good running backs that can make plays Charles Quainoo, Rees MacShara, Dominique Hayden, Rico Brown, Miles Simpson are some of the play makers i have heard a lot about.

Per the website, coaches nominate their player(s) and the panel of coaches for the respective squads select the player. I do not see anywhere in the website where a player chooses to play...

 

Each player must be nominated by their coach. All player profiles are reviewed by a panel of coaches from their home state to field the best possible team.

 

Northern Kentucky has an East West game in the Spring. Each player keeps their game jersey, there is probably a smackling of scouts watching the game... small admission to get into the game. So, I am still confused why the charge of $250 to participate. I had a son participate in the Kentucky East West game a few years ago and we did not pay a dime for that great experience. Both squads spent several days at WKU for practice and had meals provided.

 

Can someone take another shot and explain to me what the $250 is for? I am sure that an admission is charged for the fans... so let's not use that as an excuse...
