Rebel,

Boyle County is the enemy too because Boyle makes most public schools look bad.

Here is the list of co-sponsors:

Whoa, Danville a bit out the blue on this list also to me. I would have thought coach Harp would have better ideas than this. But then again I think a lot of people on this list have been "persuaded" to endorse!

I think Coach Harp has been on this bandwagon in the past.

I guess Scott Co. moving to the 11th region in basketball had something to do with them being on the list.

I've also stayed out of this debate this time because it has been so redundant with previous threads and arguments. I expect the proposal to pass, but the real battle will be in the Legislature and the courts. We have been gearing up for this, and I fully expect it to be a heated battle . We will NOT walk softly into the night. :irked: :fight: :irked:

I am GREATLY disappointed in Male, Manual, and Scott Co., three schools for whom I formerly had a great deal of competitive respect.

If it were to pass, when would it go into effect?

Easy there killer. Coach Harp has more football experience than most coaches in the state of KY, including more wins and more titles, lets not go tearing down a KY coaching legend by saying he has no class. That couldn't be further from the truth. Obviously, a man with so many years of coaching experience is much more qualified than you or I to make a decision as to whether or not private schools should be kicked out.

He didn't say Harp had no class, your're the one who said it. :sssh:

I am suprised about Male also. I can't believe Male doesn't think their state champtionships are worth more because they had to go through Trinity and X to earn them.

Male, Manual, and Scott County are co-sponsors of the "Kick the private schools out of the KHSAA proposal." Let me be the first to say I am very disappointed in these three schools. Nothing like having your cake and eating it too.

Anyone?

I understand why you would say Male and Manual as the pot calling the kettle black, but why is Scott County lumped into this group?

Scott County gets players from all over the world, kind of like a private school...

Why just those schools? Male, Manual and Scott county are just three of a lot of schools trying level the playing field for everyone. A few others are PRP, Henry Clay, Tates Creek, Iroquois, Jeffersontown, Seneca, Southern, Warren Central, Warren East, and Western, a whole bunch more on your little list.

Got any proof????

Proof of what? That they support the proposal? Its right there in black and white. I guess Manual really wants to be in the Big Two, even if they would be the second banana.

Except of course for those evil private schools.

I don't know much about the Louisville schools, but I am surprised that Scott County would get involved with this proposal. I mean, I can see them wanting it to pass, but not getting involved. In their case the 'pot calling the kettle black' is probably on target.
