December 6, 200916 yr I say Bama wins by 10 or more. Bama beat a team in Florida who had not lost in 20 games and beat them easily. Texas lucky to beat a good Nebraska team. Just think Bama has too much for Texas to handle.

December 6, 200916 yr Bama by two touchdowns. Texas will not be able to handle the Alabama defense and their speed. Nebraska gave McCoy problems and Alabama is much better than the huskers.
December 6, 200916 yr I think this game will be close for a while since they won't be playing for about a month. Both teams will come out sluggish I just think Bama's defense is really good and will be able to stop the run and shut down Texas receivers. Bama has a better offense but Texas defense is very good too. I think it will be closer then people think.

December 6, 200916 yr ^^I think TCU would beat Texas like a drum. If you can take Texas' offense out of sync, they have no shot. Texas is a good team, but I don't think they wouldbeat Bama, TCU, or even UF on most days. Anything can happen in a one game scenario though obviously.

Yeah so clutch:rolleyes:.....He snapped the ball with 8 seconds left last night, and acted like there was 20 nearly costing his team the game. Bottomline is he FROZE UP. He didn't know what to do. Take away the horsecollar/out of bounds kick and we aren't even having this discussion.

Texas has earned the right to play Alabama just as much as UC, TCU or Boise St. And unfortunatily we don't have a play off so we have to live with what we got. I can't wait until Texas beats Alabama and earns the respect they're not getting. It's funny that TCU is getting more respect than Texas. Oh well Texas gets there chance to prove themselves:ylsuper:

Oh well Texas gets there chance to prove themselves:ylsuper: Can I save this post? IMO, no way does Texas beat Alabama. That offense got dominated by one player last night. Sure, Suh is probably the best player overall in the country, but Alabama has playmakers all over the field. IMO, if Suh isn't the best defensive player in the country then it's McClain. Alabama's offense is much better than Nebraska's, and probably everyone else that Texas has faced. Texas cannot run the ball, and Alabama proved that if you can't run the ball you can't beat them. McCoy throws alot of picks, and he's probably playing the best defense in the country at forcing turnovers. I give Texas virtually no shot at winning the title. They can, but it will be a huge upset IMO. If Bama doesn't win by at least 14 I will be shocked.
