That sort of looks like the parking at Highlands. We're used to walking, but I suspect there's some hills involved in these walks, huh? Maybe Park n' Ride will work well? Hope so.

Fellas, I don't mean to imply that any of you guys are stupid...but I realize these posts are sometimes misinterpreted. I assume you guys know that JH has film on Highlands. I'm pretty sure they've taken a look at it. I think JH knows exactly what they're getting into. Otherwise Big Dale would've already received the trophy in the mail. I don't think you're going to intmidate anybody with public blog sites or tradition...not at this point in the season. JH may very well get blown out, just as others who've come before the Bluebirds. :isurrender: Maybe not:D

John Hardin has a very good defensive line, probably the best I have seen all year. When they go with their base defense and put 8 in the box, they are very tough to run on. I think they get in trouble when they go to their 3-4 nickel package, too vulnerable between the tackles with that look. I know Highlands has an excellent O-line but they will be challenged by that bunch from JH, really good looking kids up front.

 

Speed wise, JH is VERY fast. The Savoy kid is about as quick as they come at the HS level and Wright is not too far behind. Their QB does what he needs to do, runs the Wing-T extremely well but doesn't "wow" you with his arm. Favorite target by far is his big TE, Simmons. Kid always seems to get lost in space when JH runs waggle.

 

Overall, it's the ultimate test for JH, but I don't think Highlands is giving this squad enough credit. Well, I take that back, HHS fan's aren't giving them enough credit. Both teams will show up, you can count on that. JH will give up some points but they can light up the scoreboard as well, ton of athletes. Should be a heckuva ballgame, 14 points or less either way IMO.

 

If your tight end is the biggest passing threat for JH ,or the QB's favorite target,he is in for a real treat. Highlands LBer's are big and fast and hit extremely hard. If and when the TE for JH gets past them , then he has to deal with the D backs , by the way, they also hit like LBer's. During a lot of games this season in the second half, the recievers arms don't strech out as far ,and always looking for the big hit that is coming instead of catching the ball and therefor dropping the pass. As far as TE's goes , Ryle has a signed D1 TE, look at his stats from both games against HHS. (Tate Nichols ) :lol::lol:

I received word from very reliable sources and game tape viewers and they say HHS will have all they want with JH. They are, and I quote "very very very fast" and only have "1 or 2" guys playing both ways. Looks like a mirror image of HHS.

 

I'm so glad the boys from HHS don't read this stuff on here about how they will scare, which I think is the biggest childish comment ever on BGP. Grow up people on these comments. Geez, please stop making the "JH don't know what they are in for" comments. :puke:

 

I know for one, I have been very surprised with how easy HHS has rolled through the playoffs. I'm hoping that is because they are that good and maybe after next week, they can claim they are the best ever. But until then, make it stop. All you guys from in state and out of state, you are looking pretty silly with some of these comments.

 

BTW, I like the Birds in this one. Oh and until they win on Friday, the '82 team is the greatest ever! :lol::lol::lol::banana::banana::banana:

I'll go with Birds 38-14. I look for JH to be much better than the other teams that have matched up against the Birds so far in the playoffs.
