UC - 0 wins Iowa - 3 wins: #22 Arizona, #21 Wisconsin, and #13 Penn St. Two of those were road wins. Please tell me where UC has better resume with better quality wins to justify them being ahead of Iowa.

They are not a top 10 team in the country IMO. So when OSU beats them, its going to make OSU look better than they really are because people will say they beat a top 10 team, and most likely will somehow get them into a BCS bowl again and also get beat again.

October 25, 200916 yr I don't really think they are that overrated. There really aren't that many teams this year that are that good. I think they would put up a good fight with just about anyone right now. I would argue it in the reverse. I think there are a lot of very good teams this year and therefore much parity. The "any given Saturday" argument is more apparent this year. Iowa finds ways to win and that makes them an excellent team.

Well you can't put the SEC in every bowl game and if you did they would not win them all.

October 25, 200916 yr I agree. It's like Alabama. They've got a dominant defense, but the offense isn't strong enough to pull away most games, so the scores look close. Alabama absolutely dominated UT most of the day today, but because the offense couldn't get it done, they were in a precarious position at the end. Let's remember that they went on the road to Happy Valley and came out with a win. Wisconsin on the road is pretty good too. :thumb: They pull out close games. If you haven't had a close game by now, chances are that you haven't played anyone. They likely will, but they shouldn't... Based on what? They're about even to me, but I think the win at Happy Valley should be more highly regarded than anyone UC has played. After that both teams have played some solid teams, but no world beaters. Even most of the teams regarded as the best of all-time had close games. UC better than the '01 Canes, '05 Texas or USC, '08 Gators? I would argue it in the reverse. Iowa finds ways to win and that makes them an excellent team. Okay, how about there are alot of good teams, but no great teams? I willl agree that the overall talent level in CFB is better than its ever been because the talent is so wide-spread. But, I don't think that any team this year would have been a threat in previous years. Last years UF or Oklahoma teams would be 10-14 point favorites on any of this years squads for example.
