What is specifically wrong with the rankings?

 

Maybe the teams they support arn't ranked as high in the BGP. So the BGP shouldn't count.:idunno: Could it be he is a Bellevue fan.

Even though they are undefeated, Crittenden keeps falling in rankings :idunno:

BGP has a group of very knowledgeable and dedicated individuals that put in a lot of time researching to provide our Rankings.

But, the 6 Kentucky teams they beat have a combined 9 wins, and two of them have not won a game.

 

We will have to wait and see what they do in two weeks.

Their opponents have a combined 9 - 35 record. Not proving much with out of district games.

I think the Cantrall is a little bit more accurate. But rankings are what they are. And everyone has some debate about them.

No knock on Crittenden County; I haven't seen them. But this is pretty much the case with most of the top teams in the state, regardless of class. Of the few points they surrender, many come against 2nd, 3rd teams and freshmen.

 

And it looks like BGP has them higher than either Lit or Cantrall, FWIW.

You have to look at who they are behind. Being ranked 4th in the state behind the three ahead of them is nothing to be upset about. And the Rockets get a chance to make a big statement when they face #2 Mayfield.

I think you can the same about the majority of the better teams...They get a big lead by half time and then maybe play the 1st series in the 2nd and then it's JV and freshman the majority of the rest of the game and more times than not, the 2nd and 3rd units will give up a score or 2...Crittenden certainly isn't unique in that scenario...

Apparently, not very well.

 

The Lit, Cantrell and Massey are much better than BGP or AP.

Who should be higher or lower? Be sure to make a case as to why.

I am a Bellevue fan and they should be in the top 10. They are in the top 6 or 7 in each of the power ratings. I am just curious how the ones who put this poll together can say Bellevue should not be in it. They have dominated every class A school they have played, they beat an athletic AA Newport, a decent AAAAA Scott, and lost early and respectably to AA Holy Cross and AAAA Holmes who has only lost one game. I am not saying Bellevue should be number one, but they should be somewhere 6-8. I explained my case, I would like one of the ones who put this great poll out to explain why they should not be in the top 10.

Bellevue is probably the only team not on there that may should be, but, if they were, it would be in the 8-10 range, at best. You may could make an argument for Allen Central, Campbellsville and Williamsburg, but, not much of one... I'm not really sold on Holy Cross either, maybe 9th ot 10th, with Raceland and Fairview ahead of them...
