I voted other, I feel like Curry from Western Hills should be considered. If some of these other names are going to make this list there is no doubt this kid shouldn't be on there.

I voted other, I think the Cross kid from Rowan needs to be on this list.

 

Darrell Cross is not eligible for Mr. Football because he is just a junior. He will be in the discussion next year though. A very good talent but one that likely won't get much recognition because of where he plays. Though if you did get that chance to watch Rowan Co. he is definitely worth the price of admission.

A lot of people made their prediction before many games had been played. Now that we are 5 weeks into the season, here is a chance to reconsider your vote.

Any way to edit the poll and replace Quan Weaver with someone else? Maybe the Shelton kid from Mayfield. No disrespect meant to Quan b/c if not for his season ending injury I think he could be a favorite at this point of the season.

I don't think he will win, but I will say, if Haydon was at at bigger school he would be very high in the conversation. He is in Lexington and he is a beast, he is a D1 prospect and is getting a lot of D1 attention. He is deserving, but like I said, I would be really surprised if a 1A player got it, no matter what the quality of schedule.

Guys, I don't have his stats right now, but Belfry has finally put together a schedule that is worthy. After a "good" game against undeafeated 2A contender Prestonsburg, he has but up MASSIVE numbers againt Boyd Co. (over 200 yards) Ashland (over 200 yards) Letcher Co. Central (over 200 yards against ranked 5A team) and now Whitley Co. (over 300 yards AND 47 points scored!!!!!!! against ranked 5A school)

 

He is killing quality competition.
