6 wins, 0 losses (I know the senior year is all that matters but he is 20-0 as the starting QB [FC is 20-1 during that same time with a state champioship])

47/66 passing (71%), 732 yards, 12 TDs, 1 INT

59 rushes, 729 Yards, 12.36 YPC, 14 TDs

3 PATs

159 total points (passing, rushing, PATs) [87 points rushing & PATs]

7 Solo Tackles, 2 Assisted Tackles (not including #’s from Week 6 vs. Warren Central)

He has also did some kickoffs, but I do not know any stats or yardage on that category.

 

On a side note, I am looking forward to Antonio hitting the 1,000 yard rushing and 1,000 yard passing milestones again this year (1178 rushing and 1019 passing last year's regular season; 593 rushing, 679 passing, 59 receiving in the playoffs). I would like to see him get another TD reception also, seeing him do that in the State Championship game last year was great (as was just being back from Iraq in time to see the falcons win the game in general.)

That a good point, I was wondering the same thing about Antonio Andrews, that would be about tripling the amount of carries he is getting now, but every now and then he has to throw it to the outstanding recievers that he has on the team as well.

Well, in researching the stats that are posted on the KHSAA scoreboard:

Key stat may be yards per carry which is remarkably similar.

Also, McCaden has been very consistent in that his lowest yard production game was 167.

Collinsworth did have only 66 yards on 14 rushes vs. Manual and 47 yards on 20 rushes vs. Cinci St. X.

That is the deal with Antonio that I continue to point out. He is an all around beast on the football field. He refuses to lose as demonstrated late in the 4th quarter of the title game against NCC. He, the QB, took the reception 60 some yards down the field leaving piles of juked out 'Breds in his wake.

He rolled up over 3,500 yds. and 50 TD last season (27 rush, 22 pass, 1 rec) and he is well on his way this year with 26 TDs in only 6 games.

Almost everybody else mentioned for Mr. Football plays RB period. Antonio is not "Mr. Does one thing well" he is all around Mr. Football.

Just asking becouse I don't know. What schools are looking at him for collage? I know some of the others, that people are talking about have several SEC, Pac 10, Big 12 schools looking at them. Again just asking?:confused:

In addition to being a football star he is also solid in the classroom. The word is that he is carrying a 3.4 GPA. Academics will not be an issue when it comes time to decide on a college.

I just got off of Max Preps. Highlands strength of schule is a 31.6 and Fort Campbell is 4. Do you think maybe that could be a reason Andrews is not getting as many votes as Collinsworth? Not that our vote on BGP mean anything. Of course if its the same people who vote on Mr. Kentucky that vote on the A.P. pole?
