USC was obviously overrated at this time of year (and now I guess we can confirm Ohio State's overratedness as put forth by some last week), but IMO, USC is overrated as a program. They lose to these pathetic teams EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. Oregon State was somewhat legit last year, but every year USC kicks it away. They have zero, ZERO, gripe at the end of the year when these are the types of teams they lose to.

September 19, 200917 yr I think Washington is vastly improved. Truthfully, they weren't terrible last season, but losing Locker early just killed them. Washington had already given LSU all they wanted on opening night. And USC was prime for a letdown after going across country and winning a tight one with Ohio State last week.

Because I felt like both USC and OSU are overrated. However I very much disagree with you on them being overrated as a program. I mean yeah seems like the last 4 years they lose to these teams that they shouldn't. However they also really NEVER lose any big games or bowl games, except for the classic against Texas. (Which they were one yard away from winning that too.) I mean I really believe that if there was a playoff system that USC would have won 5 National Titles in this decade. Which I think it would be hard for people to argue against me on that fact. So I think your way off base to say they are overrated as a program.

September 19, 200917 yr I'm glad to see USC go down in flames. Looks like another title for the SEC!!! I think the only team with a shot at winning a title this year that is not a SEC school is Texas. Texas is basically the only other team I can see maybe being able to pull it off this year.

Are you sure you aren't going out of your way to disparage the Pac 10 in order to make the SEC look better? Why can no team from any other conference lose a game in conference but the SEC ones?

I don't see why some of you get so upset when a lot of us say OSU is overrated the last few year and this year. I think we all have been shown to be right the last few years about OSU being overrated. So I don't see why some of you all still get so upset about it, because OSU being overrated has ended up being right the last few years like we said.
