Congratulations to Ashland. This was a big win and something to savor and celebrate.

Congrats to the Tomcats! I got the final score last night as I was driving to Bowling Green. This is an awesome win for you guys!:thumb:

Congratulations to Ashland. A great win over a great program. I'm beginning to wonder just how many games Ashland can win, no never mind, they can win them all.

Ram, when will people start listening to us? I realize I predicted Ironton to win this game, I was wrong but we have been singing Ashland's praises since the threads began in the Spring. We both have said they could and should win their District. I am starting to think that Highlands better watch out in November.:thumb:

Nice to get the monkey off your back, eh ?

Nice job, Tomcats !!!

Congrats to Ashland from the Belry boys, we love it when someone from KY beats up on Ironton.

I really expected Ironton to wear out the Tomcats. But I was dead wrong. Congrats to the Tomcats on a HUGE win over a great program.

Ashland may do a Raceland repeat of last year as far as regular season goes!:sssh:

^^ To add to my post. Ashland has outscored their opponents this year 158-46, very impressive!

What?

Congrats, gives me a reason to be glad to be going to work Monday morning!

You must work with some Ironton fans. :D

When Belfry has played Ironton in the past, that was

looked upon as a gague of how good a team Belfry

would have. I think Belfry played Ironton in years

Belfry won the state title (Ironton won just about

every game, I think). Although tempting to look back

in history (Ashland defeating Ironton in 1990 on its'

{Ashland's} way to the state title that year, and

undoubtedly beating Ironton, at home, for the first

time in twenty-two years, the Tomcat Kool-Aid

that's tasting pretty sweet this weekend won't really

be based on history, but rather, on the shoulders of

a very talented, very good 2009 Ashland football

team. Watch out, Waverly. Highlands will have to

wait their turn, a lot of football from now.

I would love to see Highlands come to Ashland to play. Hope Ashland gets that far.

Big win for Ashland. Good luck rest of the seasons.
