Yes they are and they have a ton of talent in the pewee system.

Ryle just pounded it down the Birds throat. Highlands couldn't stop them at all. McCoy looked pretty good throwing. The only problem is the wideouts couldn't catch a cold tonight. The Streeter kid likes to run east and west and will not head up the field. This didn't even look like the same team that I saw against Male..What happened????:confused:

 

IMO the Highlands recievers didn't drop passes just because of a off night,or couldn't catch a cold . About at least 3 or 4 times they got popped real hard by the Ryle defense which caused them to drop the passes. McCoy looked better running the ball than passing, he floated way to many passes. In closing they really got a good old butt whipping tonight. Good luck Ryle 3-0 keep it up.

To me ramming it down there throats all game means butt whipping. It was a real good game played by both sides. The score doesn't tell the whole story all the time, so rather it was 1 point or 7 . The better team won tonight .

I thought Pulice (Ryle #24) looked great. I thought the typical Ryle, go for it on 4th down, was not the wise choice late. I thought they would let the Meade kid kick a field goal. I don't think it was any kind of whipping either way. Ryle's D-line looked good, but the inside LB's didn't seem to get off of their blockers to well. Of course that could be just very good blocking by the Highlands guards. All in all I would like to see a rematch.

What year are these RBs for Ryle? Pulice and the other one? That is crazy that they'll have Elliott and then these boys coming up the ranks.

Running backs for Ryle#24 Tanner Pulice- #44 Travis Pavy both are freshman .

Pulice converted qb to running back, Pavy fb last year doing both tb/fb this season. A very nice 1,2 combo for Ryle.

That's what I was wondering. I guess to some it does. Sounds to me like it was a pretty good game.

Congrats to Ryle and IMO this is shocking after hearing what HHS frosh were supposed to have. I know the coaches at Cooper are trying to land a Frosh game with Ryle and hope it comes to be as Ryle has now beat Cov Cath and HHS and "on paper" Cooper would handle Ryle based on what I know from these kids in past pee-wee years. These kids mentioned above are all talented but IMO Cooper is even more so. Congrats again to Ryle on a great win. :thumb:

I agree with JAR's comments the 7 point score didnt show the intensity of the hitting in the game. There were at least 3 bone jarring hits on highlands players, that was the butt whipping. #7 for Highlands is the real deal he was amazing at LB he made the majority of the plays on defense for Highlands. I hope to see a Ryle and Highlands rematch in the championship but Highlands has to pass through a very good CCH that could have beat Ryle last week.

I've never understood the, "The game was closer than the score" or "The game was worse than the score" argument.

 

No it wasn't, if it was the score would indicate that. You can't "whip" anyone if you score three times and they score twice; I don't care what sport it is. Well, I guess that could be considered a whipping in soccer.
