Bourne Identity, Bourn Supremecy and Ultimatum are all awesome as action flicks. Gladiator Almost Famous 300 Apacalypto Passion of the Christ JACK I and II. word filter wont let me say the rest, but I love Knoxville and the guys. July 30, 200917 yr Seeing as how we're all sports fans here, I assume at least a couple other people listen to the Bill Simmons podcasts. He had Chris Conolly on last week and he made a great point. Hollywood in this decade has been slow to recognize creative trends and so the best movies of this decade have been on television. The Sopranos and The Wire, to his mind, are the great pieces of motion picture art to come out during this generation. I think I probably agree. Certainly, there have been good movies this decade, but is there a movie out there that really stands out as the great art from this era? I'm not so sure that there is. That said... Almost Famous and The Dark Knight certainly stand out in my mind. Eternal Sunshine, Traffic, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy are all right up there as well.

August 3, 200917 yr Author I like all of the love that Almost Famous is getting, it is a really underrated movie IMO. Bill Simmons of ESPN.com has also named it his fave of the aughts.
