May 23, 200917 yr I'm going to amend my list and say that tonight's Game 2 was the best game I have ever been to. I figured that you might do that.:thumb: I envy you.
May 23, 200917 yr Game 2 of the 1990 World Series. 1993 Daytona 500. Game 6 of the 1972 World Series. Reds won 8-1 and was 3 rows away from a JB home run. 1978 when Kentucky Wildcats behind Dwight Anderson came from I believe 6 down with with 11 seconds to go to beat Kansas. There was no 3 point line then. I'm very blessed !
May 23, 200917 yr 2006 World Series Game 5.... Cardinals win!!!! in 2006 sometime in April i was at an Avalanche game in Denver, they scored 2 goals in the final 1:08 to win the game.
May 23, 200917 yr AFC Championship: Steelers and Pats The Last game ever played a Three Rivers: Steelers and Skins I believe 7 monday night football games. I did have tickets to the first ever regular season game in Heinz Field, but 911 pushed it back to the end of the year.
May 23, 200917 yr I'm going to amend my list and say that tonight's Game 2 was the best game I have ever been to. I thought you might change your mind. Really what more could we have wanted from games 1 and 2. (well maybe 2 Cavs wins) Saw 2 great games, saw the best player in the game put together the best two game scoring output this late in the playoffs in like 40 years. Met 2 Magic players, met SVG, saw Hedu and J.Nelson like 10 feet away. Also saw alot of other famous people like Jim Brown, Usher, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Kenny "the Jet" Smith and who even knows who else. Game 2 was amazing... when it was over. I thought there was going to be a riot in Cleveland last night!!! Edited May 23, 200917 yr by CatsCatsCats
May 23, 200917 yr Last year I went to a Cubs vs White Sox Game at Wrigley and my fiance had bought me 3rd row seats behind home plate for my graduation gift. The Cubs came from behind and won on a walk-off homer from Aramis Ramirez. Most amazing atmosphere I had ever been a part of; Got to sing "Go Cubs Go" on a beautiful afternoon in Wrigleyville on a walk-off against the hated Sox with 3rd row seats. I'm smiling as I think of it now.
May 23, 200917 yr I did see the last baseball game at Riverfront/Cinergy and the first at GABP, but I wouldn't count them among the best games I've ever seen. When you start getting up there in years, you see a lot. The only game I saw in 1967 was the game where Frank Robinson, fresh off a triple crown, was injured. I saw the Steelers-Colts playoff game where some nut flew a small plane into the upper deck of Memorial Stadium. I saw Jim (I never gave up a grand slam) Palmer win his 200th game. I went to Chicago to see baseball played in Comiskey Park the last weekend before it was torn down. I was at the Indy 500 where polesitter Roberto Guerrero crashed during warmup laps and never got into the race, which saw Little Al nose out Scott Goodyear in the closest finish in Indy 500 history. Stick around, folks - you're sure to see something amazing!
May 23, 200917 yr I'm going to amend my list and say that tonight's Game 2 was the best game I have ever been to. Couldnt imagine what it was like being there at the end of that game. Must have been nuts.
May 23, 200917 yr Couldnt imagine what it was like being there at the end of that game. Must have been nuts. Just imagine the country's most starved pro sports community reacting to the home born "Savior" hitting a shot to save the season. You get the picture.
May 24, 200917 yr Just imagine the country's most starved pro sports community reacting to the home born "Savior" hitting a shot to save the season. You get the picture. Where amazing happens.....you lucky dogs. :thumb:
May 24, 200917 yr Where amazing happens.....you lucky dogs. :thumb: I didn't think that until the game was over. It was a game that I will tell my kids about.....when/if I'm lucky enough to have some.
May 24, 200917 yr Reds game last year. In pre-game Mr. Red fell off of the quad on the warning track. and during the game the Reds belted 9 homers. Including 3 by Votto alone.
