May 6, 200917 yr Yep.. No way to win the argument either way. ^ Very true. I don't care really as long as he understands that there are tradition and he want to build on it.He's here either way. I say being from Alabama he has an idea about UK, if that help- great, if it didn't- great. Honestly ,after Henry said he didn't know anything about UK history I kinda took that personal for some reason. But thats all in the past.:thumb::popcorn:
May 6, 200917 yr I'm glad he's now a Wildcat.:thumb: He was very nervous. I'm not concerned about his interview skills, I'm sure UK has people that coach their young men amd women how to handle media interviews. I remember Mashburn being very nervous with interviews when he was first at UK, but ended up being very comfortable before the microphone. He now works part time for ESPN.
May 6, 200917 yr ^ And he does a very good job for ESPN IMO... I wasn't able to watch the press conference. Does anyone have a link that I could go back and view it?

May 6, 200917 yr I've interviewed Eric in person and over the phone a few times. It was not being nervous in an interview, he is just a really poor speaker...
May 6, 200917 yr Not bashing the kid, just making an observation. There are plenty of 17 & 18 year old kids who don't speak well, particularly in the public forum. Did you watch the interview? Yes I did. But that doesn't mean I have to comment on anything I watched. I hope Mr. Bledsoe stays at UK and gets a wonderful education.
May 7, 200917 yr Bledsoe has a UK hat on now. Says he wants to be part of the tradition. Also said that he would've gone to Memphis had Calipari stayed. He said he didn't want to stay home, so he didn't consider Alabama or UAB. You would've thought he was struggling to pass English, not Math. He seems so nervous, which is understandable. Nice, let's start bashing the kid for the way he speaks. Some people just flat out amaze me. I watched it and Oh my Gosh!!!!!! I have been to a couple of worlds fairs and ....................and you know the rest. Wow!!!!!! Coach Cal will be god if he can get this kid through school!!!!!:thumb: I've interviewed Eric in person and over the phone a few times. All I will say, is from UK fans that I deal with everyday, everything they have said about tatoos, head bands, and broken English....it will all come back on UK.
