That isn't true, in Boston every seat has been sold for what is a record almost 9 full seasons. And the Sox are only averaging about 6,600 less fans than the Yankees in their tiny little park.
May 5, 200917 yr I've enjoyed reading the banter back and forth, and at the end of the day the recession is an obvious factor. But, did you see some of the prices the Yankees were charging? In any economy I can't imagine anyone spending that kind of money to watch a game. At the end of the day, it's a baseball game, not a ticket on the first shuttle to the moon.

You are wrong!!! Attendance IS down in baseball. You are pointing to one team and saying attendance isn't down in the entire league. You obvoiusly did not look at the numbers I posted.
