Anyone here a cry baby?

Featured Replies

Once during a movie. (How many times have I told this story on here?)

My daughter went with us to "For the Love of the Game" and near the end she looks over and sees me getting misty eyed. She asks, "Why are you getting choked up?"

I said, "Honey, he pitching a perfect game."

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition get to me. Also, hearing "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes will make me tear up.

Same for me every time! Where The Red Fern Grows when I was little.

During "Hoosiers," when they do the prayers in the locker room before the championship game, and in the time out during the championship game before the final shot when everybody else is looking around, lost, and Jimmy says, "I'll make it."

Like a baby during church services at times. I remember I did a devotion the Sunday after our ministers wife had died. I almost did'nt get through it.

I cried in "My Dog Skip" because I have the same type of dog and it got beat with a shovel. I also cried during a Denzel Washington movie, I do not know what it is called, but his son has a heart attack on a baseball field, and he does not have the money to pay the hospital, so he takes the hospital hostage with a gun to save his son. The most moving movie I have ever seen.

John Q

Remember the Titans, Saving Private Ryan, Blackhawk Down, Back Draft, just to name a few. Ha I really get into movies.

Also like everyone else mentioned, extreme makeover home edition really is hard to watch even the last half hour and not want to cry.

I have a testamony I give on my relationship with Jesus Christ and there are parts I cannot get thru.

Penny Serenade...Old Cary Grant movie. I have it on DVD and there is a part in the movie that gets me every time. Once I watched the movie got done and turned on TCM and it was playing at the part, and there I went again. :ohbrother:

Brian's Song and Field of Dreams get me every time.

Also, hearing "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes will make me tear up.

That gets to me big time. Also here are some that gives me the lumpy throat...(some have already been said)

Saving Private Ryan

The Green Mile

Top Gun

It takes a lot to get me choked up. The only 3 movies to ever do so were Shiloh, Old Yeller, and Marley and Me. I refuse to ever watch Marley and me again because I just lost a dog within the last 6 months and it killed me.

When G baby died in Hardball..

Exactly what I was going to say. Even when I know it's coming...

Gets me every time..

I have been known to shed a tear pretty easily during movies and tv shows. Extreme Makeover Home Edition for example gets me every time.

:idunno:  :isurrender:

Same here

I'm sure I'll think of more but the one that sticks out is Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Every time I see it I tear up. I also teared up a bit at the end of Marley and Me because it reminded me of when we had to put my dog down when I was a kid.

Brian's Song and Field of Dreams get me every time.

I thought about Field of Dreams while I was watching the Reds game last night. The part of the movie that got me was when Ray asked his father if he wanted to play catch. It brought back memories of me playing catch with my father.

Just to follow up.

The end of Field of Dreams - When son and dad get one last catch, well that gets me every darn time.

The Guardian (another Costner movie) - the end when Costner lets go... I WEEP every time.

For those of you who were talking about firefighters - go to youtube and search - "shine your light" by Robbie Robertson. It is a beautiful song and I pretty much break down every time.
