Very true. I watched Marley and me last week with my teens and I was the only one crying at the end. I dont care how many times I watch Remember the Titans, but that one makes me tear up every time.

On one episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition they reran an episode where they had rebuilt a home for the family of an 11 year old girl who had battled cancer. She was in the episode quite a few times and they told how she had battled her cancer into remission. She was also a very bubbly and cheerful little girl. At the end of the rerun they but a notice up on the screen that the little girl had relapsed and passed away just 2 days before the rerun aired. That did me in.

 

There was another episode where another little cancer survivor (not once but twice) requested that the children's cancer ward at the hospital be remodeled. At one point they were talking to her mother and she said that when her daughter got the second diagnosis the little girl asked her mother if she was going to die. Of course her mother broke down and had to tell her daughter that she didn't know. While I can't even imagine how painful that would have to be for a parent just thinking about it tore me up.

 

I know that some who read my posts in P&R may not believe this but I an usually a very soft hearted person. The finales of Wicked and Miss Saigon got me. And there are numerous other movies that will have me wiping my eyes and sniffling.

Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy got me. When the little girl died, I literally had tears streaming down my face. Sad stuff...:cry:

Extreme Home Makeover can get to me at times. Some of the stories are pretty touching.

Armageddon always gets me to for some reason.

If a movie is even slightly sad, chances are that I will cry.

The Bengals and Reds always get to me.:lol:

 

As mentioned before, Extreme Makeover gets me every time.

Let's see I think I've cried five or six times in the past four years: at my high school graduation, when Florida won the National Title (football) in 2006 and then again this year, when my best friend's son was born and they named me godfather, at the end of The Pursuit of Happyness and when my high school sweethear dumped me after three years for one of my close friends. I usually don't full on cry, but I'll tear up occasionally.

I have been known to shed a tear pretty easily during movies and tv shows. Extreme Makeover Home Edition for example gets me every time.

May I ask that those of us that cry during movies or TV shows not be labeled cry babies. Cry babies are whiners. We're just sentimental.:cry::idunno:

 

That said, I've shed a tear during more than a few of the movies and shows listed here. I'm sentimental that way.

 

And I'll throw a very obsure movie out there that gets me everytime (though i haven't seen it in years). The last scene of Fresh Horses filmed during Winterfest at Kings Island always choked me up. Not a great movie I know, but something about the last scene and it being local get to me.
