The NIKE combine to a high school athlete is what the Indy NFL combine is to a college athlete. It is the most respected combine rating among college coaches! It shows sport specific abilility and is a big reason some kids get recruited by major college programs while some do not.

Of the Northern Ky. athletes at the RB position, Simpson and Elliot have by far the highest rating! Any rating near the 80's is considered a high level recruit.

With Elliot's ratging as a Freshman and it will increase as he gets more mature and starting for a 6A program against top competition, I believe he is a top RB and or LB in the area. Also I have talked to a family member who played for SK and he also confirmed that two other Big East schools and another Big Ten school not listed had visited Ryle after the Nichols commitment about Elliot.

As I posted earlier he is already getting major looks from big time programs.

And to think this kid has 3 years left in high school.

Klei is Dixie. I have to assume he'll handle all the RB duties. He's built like a bowling ball. His thighs look like tree trunks. He's short, so has a low center of gravity. He'll be one of the better ones in NKY without question.

 

I liked watching him play last year.

 

NewCath's Chris Kelly will be in the mix as NewCath will, in my opinion, be giving him the ball every chance they get until their new QB gets his feet under him.

You really can't knock people for not ranking him in their top 5, or even 10 for that matter. It's hard to rank someone in the top 5 that you haven't seen play the position in a few years. Just because he's a stud WR and DB doesn't mean he's going to be a stud RB.

Who is in frontrunner to be CovCath's starting RB? They will have quite a few talented up and coming Juniors.

Coaches visit many High Schools this time of the year and it is within NCAA rules!

The actual contact is with coaches and staff mambers.Also e mails and University/school

information is also allowed within NCAA guidelines!

Your best guess would be Joe Colosimo with Cory Crane getting some touches.

 

Crane's got to stay healthy to be a factor. He's was hurt his freshman year at SK and his Sophmore year at Beechwood.
