  1. Lloyd lost 6 or 7 seniors but return Donnie Cheatum who should be a presence in the middle, but the rest of the team will young, if nothing changes all Juniors and Sophmores next year. They will need to mature fast!
  2. He throws every bit of high 70's no doubt and as far as next year he's a regular in the rotation, not "some playin time"....there are 3 kids on that JV team that should playing Varsity full time, so don't make it sound like its lack of talent that is keeping these guys on the JV team....Asher, York and Brown should be playing varsity
  3. I have watched him play since he was 5, you are 100% correct he is a great athlete and good kid....
  4. I would like to see Holy Cross and Lloyd JV play, Fuller against Asher. Brady Asher is 6-1 with an ERA under 1.0 for the Juggs JV this year. He is right around 80 with a great change up. Does anyone know who Fuller plays for in the summer?
  5. Lloyd needs to get all of its best athletes on the field at the same time. If they can run the ball effectively that will help with the passing game, the question for Lloyd is who is going to fill Herthel and Cramer shoes. If they do not have some recievers step upand become seriuos threats, I don't care how good your offensive line is, they will have trouble moving the ball. Defensively they need to make stops, they can not give up 40 points and expect to win, this is where they need to have their best athletes on the field at all times. GO JUGGS!!!!!!!
  6. WOW....Lloyd will be lucky to get out of the first round...lol....they better start hitting the ball or they will be in trouble....consecutive loses to Conner and Ryle where bad...they looked overpowered at the plate and bad defense.....I still think the upper part of the lower bracket is the tuffest...lets go juggs
  7. I think Cheatum from Lloyd has a chance to make some noise, needs to get stronger.
  8. I couldn't agree more, theres no way of really predicting because the teams will definately have some roster changes....which I agree is unfortunate.
  9. Brady Asher has to be one of the best pitchers in the freshman class, Hillard plays SS, Tyler York is one of the best CF out there and Tyler Plageman catches, all of these guys are playing JV at Lloyd.
  10. Im going Lloyd and *St Henry in the lower bracket, Nex cath and Campbell in the Upper...* this could be Ryle after I see them next week....Upper part of lower bracket is the toughest....the team that comes out of there will be have played 2 or 3 tough games....Campbell Co still the team to beat...
  11. When is the Freshman tourney?
  12. Changeup, you might be right about the Ryle - Lloyd game, they have their Freshman team listed as JV-B, but you are correct they will see each other next week, I guess we'll see how we stack up. Does anyone know where to find the tourney bracket?
  13. If we are talking NKY...Donnie Cheatum...Sophmore at Lloyd, just needs to get stronger
  14. Seth Chappie at Lloyd will be top 10...runs hard and has great speed....
  15. tonite I think.....
  16. Tyler Plageman, starting catcher for Lloyd's JV is also a freshman...and bats fourth in the line up....excelent behind the plate, calls a great game amd swings good bat..
  17. Ryle is a very good team also....I meant to add them to my original list....I can't believe I left them off....they tied with Lloyd this year....Lloyd had a runner on second with their 3 hitter at the plate, in the eighth inning when the umpire called the game due to darkness....cant wait to see the draw....
  18. Campbell co. has to be the favorite, very solid team. St Henry is very good too. Watch out for Lloyd, two tough losses to St. Henry , one to Campbell and one to Conner....these guys are playing good....Brady Asher pitched a complete game last night against Highlands in improve to 5-0...they are hitting the ball good and making plays when it counts....they start 6 freshman and 3 8th graders....I have not seen Boone Co. or Cov Cath but have to expect them to be good also...
  19. Someone mentioned a JV coach, by no means is the guy I'm going to talk about Krumps, Meyerhoff or any of the other coaches mentioned, but Lloyd's JV coach, Kyle Oberschlake, does a fantastic job. His teams are made up of Freshman and 8th graders, this years team for instance is all freshman and 3 8th graders. I believe they are 10 and 4 with 2 losses to St. Henry and one loss to undefeated Campbell Co. He gets the kids ready to play everyday, they are learning baseball and the kids love playing for him. Keep up the good work!!
  20. The entire JV team at LLoyd is made up of Freshman....Brady Asher pitches and plays 3rd, Tyler York Plays CF and Neihamiah Hillard plays SS and pitches as well
