I am not sure all that they lost but I am a huge supporter of Coach Lucas and I expect Lloyd to return to a dominant team next year. At least in their district.

While they are getting better I don't see them winning the District. Any Lloyd fans have some insight on returning players? I remember Chappie is coming back but QB Gregory(sp), WR Herthel, and Walker are graduated. I am not sure about Walker though.

Walker will be gone as well. Lloyd is graduating 15+ seniors. Their entire line on both sides of the ball besides 2 also thier secondary is completely gone. Places where they are gonna lack is the O/D line, secondary and also the wr position. The backfield will be the bright spot on the team with QB-Dylan Mcguire RB-Seth Chappie and FB-Charles Jouett.

I agree that the back filed will be a bright spot. The O and d line should be big thsi year as far as size goes. One bright spot on the D side should be the line backers. Have a solid group in Jeremy( Sugar) Ray, Joe N , Brandon Coyle to name a few. Anchoring both lines will be Alex Driftmeyer. Alex will be a three year starter.Hopefully QB Mcguires cousin Mark will be one of the leaders in the secondary as well as one of his cousins top recievers.

The linebacker spots really need work I watched them last year a few games and they tend to wiff and miss alot. Especially on blitz they fly right past the ball carriers. Don't get me wrong I love my Juggernauts and I want to see them do well. I have seen the two boys play but if I remember correctly Coyle is a DE and he is not built like a LB. Any info on why he is playing there because he has great speed for a DE.

I have heard they are looking at a 3-4 d with him as a outside LB. Guess that way they can mix up the 3/4 and 4/3 down by down.

3-4??? :confused:wow I know they tried to run a 3-4 a few years ago when Dan Wolley was there and didn't have any success with it. Thats back when they had some size on the D line but they just don't have that size on the line and IMO their linebackers are not capable of handling that defense. Again IMO their DB's have historically been their best tacklers form wise but also because the LB's miss alot.

They need to give Seth Chappie the ball fifty times a game. AND, they need to spend a lot of time working with the Erlanger Lions, and keep those boys in Erlanger and Elsmere. Lloyd won't have any success untill the players from the Lions who are really good, stop leaving for other schools.

I agree as well. Every year we lose to many to others schools.

Yes that is what is keeping Lloyd from being the team they can and should be!

Well IMO the Lions do a great job of steering the kids away from Lloyd.

Why would they do that? That makes no sense at all. Plus I doubt that the Pee Wee coaches are going to be able to control where a kid goes to high school. There has to be something happening in the program at Lloyd that is causing kids to not play there. Coach Lucas has been there for quite a while and seems to be well respected by all. I don't think the Yeagle half year did anything to hurt the program. Any explanations for why Erlanger kids would not want to play for Lloyd?
