I am really shocked at what I have been reading on this post. I could really blast alot of people on here but I will be civil at this point. To say that the Lions coaches are sending kids to other schools is appauling to me. I have been in this program for 25 plus years, I have had the best people working with me and for me over these 25 years. Thanks Sandman for your comments. I have worked very close with Lloyd and have been involved as a coach and scout for those 25 years. I have pushed all of our coaches push our kids to go to Lloyd. What people do not understand is that we have Erlanger/Elsmere School District and on the east side of town the kids go to Dixie, Scott and Simon Kenton. Lately our teams consist of these kids along with ST Henry and some Boone County Kids. In the past several years the kids that go to Tichenor have not been comming out for our Football Program. As for firing our Senior Coaching Staff is again appauling to me as eveyone of those coaches played for me except for one or two of them. As for the kids that have gone to Beechwood this past year if you want to PM me I can explain. All I can say is that volunteer's are hard to find and I appreciate everyone that has coached with me or for me. I can assure you if the Lloyd coaching staff would come and talk with our kids they would understand that Lions Football and Lloyd High School have a good relationship. Yeah. And actually having a legit O and D line would help too.

 

ha ha I'm pretty sure the O and D lines did farely well last year simply for the fact that the Jr QB had all day to throw, he just wasn't so good at it.

As for Lloyd and the future it is up to the Athletics Director, coaches and boosters to move forward. I wish them well. JD

The Lloyd O-line will be inexperienced this year, with only two returning starters. Everyone is working hard in the weight room. But the main question is who will play center? It's a question that even players are wondering about. We'll just have to see.

Cedric was good but Seth Chappie will do fine.They spilt time last year. Look for Seth to have a big year carrying the ball.

Lloyd needs to get all of its best athletes on the field at the same time. If they can run the ball effectively that will help with the passing game, the question for Lloyd is who is going to fill Herthel and Cramer shoes. If they do not have some recievers step upand become seriuos threats, I don't care how good your offensive line is, they will have trouble moving the ball. Defensively they need to make stops, they can not give up 40 points and expect to win, this is where they need to have their best athletes on the field at all times. GO JUGGS!!!!!!!

Has either one played it before? Didn't the freshmen team have a big center last year as well? This coming senior class beat New Cath and Beechie as freshmen with the line they had. It of course had Schneider and CJ whose a FB now I guess.I think Sug or Whitey can handle it.Would loved to see Schneider return though.

With such a small choice as from who to choose from Coach Lucas may have to change some positions around. Whitey is a DE or Guard, he's way too small to play Center. Drifmeyer has previously played center when Creech couldn't come in. Schneider may not come back which leaves Ben, Disco, Drif or maybe an underclassman to fill the gap. However, with this situation this still leaves the O-line short a player or so.
