Yes and I believe he played in college. Ironic.

He(qb) plays all three sports so he really does not have an off-season.

Conner just ended up gravitating more towards the other two sports. These days, it's almost impossible for a kid to play three sports in high school and play them all well. Kids are just getting so specialized these days and every sport has just about become a year-round activity. If you don't play/practice/train through the entire year for a particular sport, other kids who are doing so end up passing you by.

Don't know how you could place anyone above Simpson at this point. Or for that matter how you could put anyone above Quainoo at second before the season starts. All the talent in the world doesn't amount to a hill of bean unless they prove they can get it done. I'm relatively sure that the Collinsworth kid will be a great running back if indeed Highlands plays him there. From what everyone is saying Elliott will be a fine back as well. They still have to prove they can get it done. Respect should be given to the guys that have been there at this point.

When Austin Collinsworth was a frosh he was the best running back at that level in nky..I heard from a few birdies that he looked unreal this spring.:thumb:

With Quainoo, Oppenheimer, and Collinsworth in the top ten RB's in NKY, should make for a very interesting game this season when Boone travels to Highlands to play.
