As for last night, probably a good call. The little lady is very happy and excited for me on the outside. On the inside I think she is a little upset, but she understand how big of a deal this is for me. When June gets closer I think it will set it more for her. But it will be fine. Congrats man! So what exactly will your job entail? I will be assigned to roughly 30-40 schools throughout two regions of the country (won't find out which ones until the summer) and I will travel to them. Visiting lots of people at the school, meeting with many of the members, making assessments and advise on how to make different improvements and what not. There is a lot more detail to it, but that is the general. I will probably also get to start a colony at a school, so that will be interesting.

It changes from time to time, depending on how many chapters are within one area. But right now there are 18 different regions. A colony is when we try to start a new chapter at a school where they don't have Pike. So if a university didn't have Pi Kappa Alpha and our nationals as well as the university wanted to bring Pike to their school, considering we had the manpower to do it at the time...we would send 2-3 consultants there for about 5 weeks to try and get one started.

That's pretty awesome man. Sometimes I wish I'd joined a fraternity, it's right there on my list of alot of other things I'd wished I'd done differently.

I had a friend of mine that was a consultant for a year and he enjoyed it. A lot of time on the road and sleeping in uncomfortable places, but it is still a cool gig to do for a year or two. He might give you a good deal since you're a UK fan. There are a couple reasons that I have to wait. One the men who are currently consultants right now don't end their terms until then. But, I believe the main reason is, some universities don't let out for the summer until late May or maybe early June. The majority of the time the guys that they hire are graduating seniors, so they have to make sure everyone is out of school to start training. It's sort of nice to have a little break, but I just want to get into it lol. I will probably cut grass or referee some til then to try and make some cash on the side. And once again, thank you for all the kind comments and congratulations.
