It was mentioned on the threads from last week. I don't know if hate is a good word but it sounded as if frustration was appropriate.

Until I see a video where a player say something, or see it in print from the press where a player has said something then it's just a rumor. I also find it hard to believe some of the more harsh rumors, I would say IF they were true BCG would have been out the door in mid season! I am done with people trying to kick a man when he is down and all. Plus as been mentioned, it doesn't say much about UK. Just let it go. :sssh:
April 1, 200917 yr I personally have seen Billy G. be very very rude to a female at Malone's. It happened about a year ago and ever since the I have been disgusted with Billy. Having a very close friend that is a coach in the football program he personally said that Billy wasn't liked by alot of people because of the way he treated people. I think that we will come out on top in this decision, if you watched the press conference you can see how fitting his is for this position.

April 1, 200917 yr I thought that BCG should have gotten 1 more year, ... but, ... the more I hear about other issues with him, this move had to be made. 98NCCalum was right when he called this hire a bad hire from the beginning. At first I was thinking BCG should have another year. Of course I was unaware of the depths of the other issues that were apparently there. After hearing about these things and then listening to the PC of Gillispies' dismissal and intro of Calipari today. I think this was 100% the right move. While UK looks a little bad in this ordeal, the hiring of Calipari will quickly make it fade. I believe this is a great hire for UK. GO CATS!!!!

I got blasted for saying this, now that everything is out in the open and everything I've been saying for a year has turned out to be 100% true, anyone still care to defend him? Just curious..... Are you serious? You got blasted for saying that his longest tenured job was 3 years? You stated a very obvious fact that anyone could see on his biography and you hinted about some personal issues of his that everyone in America already knew about or always jokes about.

Just let it go. :sssh: In the Kentucky Kernel, he came out and stated that he was happy that Gillispie was gone and that it was definitely a good move. Maybe not hate, but he did not like BCG...
