The travesty and the joke is that if you fire a coach after two years, it says as much about the guy who hired him as the coach. The coach is either so unbelievably bad that he had to be fired, or he wasn't given enough time. If it's the former, the guy who hired him should go too. If it's the latter, well, then it's a joke. Two years is too little time.

Two years is too little time. I agree that Barnhardt screwed this one up if Gillispie is fired, but no one could have seen this coming. Many thought this was a great hire 2 years ago.

March 27, 200917 yr Anybody who jumps off the wagon now isn't a real fan. If Kentucky fans can't take this then they're not very tough. As a fan of some pretty bad teams in other sports, I have been through MUCH worse. Things will get better for Kentucky basketball, trust me.
