March 6, 200917 yr He called into Paul Daugherty's show and said that people have been texting him about comments that Marvin has been saying about him. I think he was referring to some comments that Marvin said about Coles and implied that TJ wasn't/couldn't do. TJ said He does not want me to be saying some things that are true about him and he is just not happy about being where he is.
March 6, 200917 yr Author Please be more clear. He made a threat that if Marvin keeps talking about him and putting him down, he will come out and start telling the truth and saying things on Marvin. And Marvin does not want to go there. I did not get to hear the end of the interview.
March 6, 200917 yr Marvin was just pointing out positives about Coles. Believe he said his yards per catch is slightly better. TJ is a thing of the past now.. gotta look forward.

Lance was all over this. Saying Marvin was pointing out that Coles can take the slant and run with it when others couldn't. Also, pointed out that Coles was hurt and never missed a practice where others (TJ) were hurt and wouldn't practice.
March 6, 200917 yr This is part of the reason I don't mind seeing TJ go. He has always been somewhat of a malcontent. It is Marvin's job to tell everyone how great Coles is and maybe TJ needs to worry about the Seahawks and not about any slights Marvin may or may not be dishing out.

March 6, 200917 yr Marvin striking a bit of a nerve with the "practicing when hurt" line, and the RAC comment. I admire TJ but I don't think Marvin is fabricating anything, just stating the truth.

Facts, sure. However, Marvin does not need to be saying those things. He was taking shots at TJ, and it was uncalled for.

March 6, 200917 yr I hope Marvin keeps it up. I would love to hear the Whole Story.:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
March 6, 200917 yr Boo hoo! Look, I'm not a huge TJ fan. He whines way too much IMO, but he laid it on the line every Sunday. I'm not defending TJ here. I'm just saying a head coach has to take the higher ground. It's very unprofessional to be taking shots at former players.
