Everyone complaining about ticket prices knows the Arena has nothing to do with setting that price right? So the greedy posts are uninformed and wrong.

(Quarter finals games = sessions 1-4)

I was very pleased with these numbers and look for the crowds to be bigger the next two nights

 

The snow combined with the distance killed the attendance at Montgomery Co.

2696 - More than at the Fieldhouse. It's hard to tell that becuase the place seats so many people.

Thanks for the numbers...I was curious as to how many people attended the first round games for the 10th. Roughly 2700 isn't bad for first round games.

Do you have the numbers for the 9th by any chance?

 

Agree though that tonight and tomorrow are going to have even bigger crowds. Tuesday should be a great experience for the kids. Outside of the crowd that Holmes and Mason Co played in front of last year in the state championship, this is probably going to be the biggest crowd that some of these young men have ever played in front of.

Nothing special - just if you are interested in the statistics - that is one of the statistics that is different in the comparisons - you could also compare teams playing, nights games played on, attendance at years other than the three presented, which teams generate the most attendance, etc. - just depends on what picture you want to paint.

Tonight's attendance numbers for the 10th region semis will be interesting to see. From what I know and hear, teams are driving to get to the 10th region games no matter where you locate it so I am not sure that will decide things for region 10. I think tomorrow night will tell the tale. If the crowd most of us are expecting shows up, it would be a real shame to not repeat this format with both regions playing at the BOKC.

That's a beautiful arena. But it looks like the 7th place game at the Puerto Rico Shootout.

If the 1st round games for the 10th had been played anywhere than at BOKC, I know I wouldn't have attended and I am sure there were plenty like me.....

I think there are quite a few fans like you...including me. I haven't attended the regional games in several years because I did not want to deal with arrive very early, sit in cramped hot arena, empty the gym and repeat. I am LOVING it this year at BOKC. And personally, I will take the big time, first class arena atmosphere over the cramped, hot, uncomfortable HS gym for the regional games. It makes this event truly special. We just need bigger crowds to show up and the momentum for that seems to be growing.
