I am worried about the immediate future of probably the top basketball program in the country......one that is very dear to my heart. I am worried about the program whose leadership I greatly question. This is not Texas A&M, this is not UTEP. This is Kentucky! This is the top of the mountain. Billy Clyde was given the keys to a machine with seventy plus years of basketball excellence. He is operating the machine with reckless abandon! Yeah but that machine was a Pinto when he got it. Hes got a lot of work to do to build it back up. Its not like he got a team stocked full of future NBA talent or anything. There are a LOT of holes on this team.

This thread would not exist, the thought of Darrin Horn coaching UK becomes laughable if the roles were reversed.

February 28, 200917 yr Kentucky's program was nowhere near the "Pinto" stage ... "Pinto" programs don't make a string of NCAA tournament appearances. Last years team is hampered by the same things this years team are. Little depth at key positions because of wildly inconsistent recruiting.

I still say if we beat LSU or Florida, along with Georgia, and win one game in the SEC tournament, that puts us at 22-10. There is no way, in my mind, the committee leaves out a 22 win Kentucky team.
