When the district games start, anything can happen. Look at Elliott and E Carter. East came a hair winning their game. Now wouldn't that be something to see.

I dont think it matters who wins. In the end Elliott sweeps the 16th.

Congratulations to the Red Devils and Coach Kidwell and staff. If you would have known at the beginning of the year you were going to win single digit games but you could pick one to win, this one has to be the one you'd pick. And they did this with their leading scorer and rebounder on the bench. Hope all is well with Casey Stapleton.

Perhaps the fact that Greenup never pounded inside against a smaller opponent, or perhaps the fact that Greenup settled all night for 6'4" kids shooting 20 footers, or perhaps Coach Kidwell was better prepared and Russell never was scored on by an inbounds play.

 

As for the officials, I did enjoy Scooter Charles "scooting" along the floor when he wiped out. Teenager behind me said "Uncle Fester flopped":jump:

Roy Wright was one. I thought they did a fine job. Fouls seemed to be fairly even.
